The Johnson School PTO is a volunteer organization made up of dedicated parents whose goals are to enrich the educational experience for our children, support the teachers and staff, and serve the community as a whole.  We need the support of every single person in the Johnson community.  Luckily, there are many ways to support your PTO, such as . . .

1) Enjoy Community Events
Perhaps the easiest way to support your PTO is by attending our community events.  Please check the PTO blasts, calendar, and Facebook for upcoming events.

2) Utilize Corporate Programs and Support Other Fundraising Efforts
We need to raise approximately $20,000 a year to fulfill all of our PTO goals. This takes a lot of effort and many fundraisers. We have a full menu of different fundraising options. Pick one to support or many.  Whatever you can do will help us reach our goals.

Just by being a parent of a Johnson student or a teacher at Johnson, you are a member of the PTO.  Our meetings are the best way to get to know what we do, how you can help and what is in store for the year.  They also happen to be a great way to make new friends and learn something new and interesting.

4) Volunteer your time
Everything the PTO does all year is done because of our wonderful volunteers.  Volunteer opportunities vary from working on a specific event for a couple of hours to chairing a committee that works for the school year.  Many jobs can even be done at home or on the weekends.  The PTO typically asks for volunteers through the weekly news blasts, or check out the community event page  for some ideas of where help might be needed.  If you have a talent or interest that doesn’t apply to anything we ask for specifically, please contact one of the PTO Officers.  We will find a way for you to help us!
